I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons since I was eight years old. I won’t tell you exactly how old I am now—just know my dice have seen things. Beautiful things. Chaotic things. Questionable-snack-choices things. Point is, I’ve been around the tavern a few times.
I’ve always loved the adventure, the roleplay, the camaraderie. I’ve not always loved the buckets of blood, the endless gore, or those “oops-TPK” high-stakes moments. So…
I started crafting my own fantasy tales: ones still filled with exploration, friendship, and brave deeds—but wrapped in campfire warmth, sprinkled with village folklore, and paced for players who prefer emotional crits over combat ones. That little passion project blossomed into Undersky, a cozy fantasy world designed for adventurers who want heart, humor, and heroism without needing to slay a dragon before breakfast. (You can still swing a sword or rescue someone in distress—your odds of being eaten simply plummet dramatically. You’re welcome.)
